Fitty-Two was a weekly limited series that began publication in May of 2006.
For 52 weeks, DC’s finest writers and creators crafted a story about the DC Universe without it’s most iconic and important trinity of characters. No Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman.
Instead, some less popular characters get the spotlight. That whole series gets a glowing recommendation, in particular, if you are a newcomer to DC Comis in general. Even as outdated as it is (We are 2 reboots deep in the current DC Universe with a possible third one on the horizon.), this is a story that is all about showcasing what this universe does best. Weird adventures, cathartic twists, and heroism as it’s finest. Being a fine story adds to it, too.
Today, we pay tribute to artist J.G. Jones and the colorist Alex Sinclair. They were on point for this series. Every cover was done by the duo and they kept hitting home runs. Bellow, all the entries in their magnum opus.
