Over on Artlords, we appreciate the unique, the strange. And Edward Agwi pieces are up there.
These female characters have a big forehead, small mouth, and big eyes, evoking a sense of cuteness to them. However, the lighting, the mood, the colors and the composition of the pieces evoke an eerie sense of weirdness.
The contrast of ideas is one of my favorite things in art, so I ought to share it when I see it.
