What exactly is a Samurai?
Now, there’s actually several ways to answer this question. It could be a description of a historical caste of old time-y Japanese warriors. Or perhaps we are talking about the “Samurai” archetype we see in movies, animation, comic books and many other popular cultures. These characters more often than not draw inspiration from historical and cultural classics.
Let’s take a look through the lens of several artists interpretations of what a “Samurai” is.
