Some pictures we have featured deal with nostalgia, pop culture or even entire new creative universes, tons of great examples of character design and redesign.
However, we wish to showcase the pieces that are unique, strange. Artwork that talks to our emotions, pictures that are heavy on symbols and icons.
Here comes the weird.

Heimdall 1 Over Jupiter by Mac Rebisz
We start by composition. Here we see art about something that is quite out of the ordinary, a man made satellite flying over Jupiter. A representation of mankind’s dream of visiting Jupiter in a manned mission, since the title it’s about Heimdall 1, however even without this context this is a picture full of interesting bits. From the storm that we can see from the top left, to the mystic-like Jupiter atmosphere, this is a weird, strange place.

Faces by Eldridge Stanley Que
The turmoil within. Multiple emotions, faces, and ways of interacting with the context all dwell on the same being.
Number 5 –
Soul Eater by Katarzyna Zielinska
Death in the guise of time, of a balance that needs to bend. A force of nature, macabre and neutral.
Number 4 –
Blob by pacojudge
Looks are just that. Looks. A shell, a skin we wear. The true self is inside, and it knows it’s sins and triumphs.
Number 3 –
Mind Insight by inferal
Two minds. One analytical, cold. The other one emotional, warm. Both share the same host.
Number 2 –
The Door by Dylan Eurlings
A door emerges. What’s on the other side?
Number 1 –
Ghost by Aldo Katayanagi
The soul, the body, the mind. All interwined, all part of a whole. Such is the beauty and the weirdness of the human existence.
